We seek a seasoned a Senior Research Analyst who will be responsible for learning all aspects of research design, execution and delivery.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate insights and opportunities regarding consumer and market trends, competitive forces, and competitor strategies, within Financial Services and Insurance industries.
- Identify market and consumer trends, and illustrate data in an informative, yet creative display, in reports and presentations that address business issues and offer insight and direction for clients.
- Engage with clients by presenting insights in-person, over the phone, and via webinar.
- Work collaboratively across the research team to continually elevate insights and provide relevant and timely content.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for a variety of long and short term projects.
- Prepare custom analysis and insight for clients and customize deliverables to fit client needs using original research, library of pre-published content and external research resources.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, new market entries, client acquisition and retention approaches, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of Financial Services, Insurance, Direct Marketing experience is required
- Experience utilizing Salesforce or other relevant sales management and tracking tools
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Ability to analyze multiple sets of data and write concise, insightful analysis
- Strong ability to synthesize data and “tell stories” as it relates to key competitive insights
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals/targets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented and manage time effectively
- Superior client relationship management skills
- Expertise in product knowledge and presentation skills
- BA/BS degree is preferred

- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree (+) in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

Competiscan is looking for top performing sales professional to join us. This role will be responsible for building out new relationships in a variety of markets/sectors, including insurance, financial services, and other sectors. We are looking for a true sales hunter with knowledge and experience in the Market Research industry. The individual will be for growing pipeline and meeting new business sales revenue targets. This position is based out of our Chicago, IL office.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Hunter with enterprise sales experience and adept at building new relationships.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts.
- Cultivate and manage a pipeline and meet aggressive sales quotas
- Develop and maintain expert level knowledge of Competiscan’s platform, products, strategic services, pricing, and market differentiators.
- Proven track record of consecutively exceeding past sales quotas.
- Set, prepare for, conduct and follow up on multiple in-person and/or remote prospect sales meetings each week.
- Effectively demo Competiscan’s platform and tell the story of Competiscan’s value proposition through designing and delivering compelling presentations.
- Travels to conferences and prospect locations. Schedule to be developed, with a ~25% – 30% travel expectation minimum.
- Build and leverage collaborative relationships across multiple departments including Sales Operations, Client Service, Research, and Technology, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities in Salesforce.com.

- A minimum of 7 -10 years of new business enterprise hunter sales experience with proven success.

Sales Operations Analyst

We seek a seasoned Sales Operations Analyst. The Sales Operations Analyst will be providing administrative support to our executive sales team, as well as the CEO. We are seeking an experienced individual who is detail oriented and who will be responsible for providing complete administrative, project and sales operations support to multiple members of the executive sales team including sales data analysis.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule new business appointments for sales executives
- Sales Prep – Ensure both client and sales representative have meeting logistics & competitor details in advance of meeting, send reminders to sales representative and clients/ prospects before meetings
- Schedule ZOOM/ Microsoft Team/ GoToMeeting meetings with prospects/ clients
- Schedule internal meetings for CEO and for other key employees
- Manage CEO’s calendar
- Follow up with prospects/ clients until meeting is set
- Answer main line and transfer phone calls appropriately
- Back up Sales Operations Lead
- Update both whiteboards with most up to date sales numbers
- Receive and interact with incoming visitors, clients or job applicants
- LinkedIn process – Track sales team activity
- Track meetings and send meeting report every M/W/F
- Other onsite or offsite events – Plan, reserve, and invite attendees
- Lead Management – Set up new leads in SF, find contact details, and support sales team in finding better contact details if bounced
- Ad hoc Projects – As needed, completes special sales projects
- Review and update pipeline/other salesforce reports with sales team members
Post COVID responsibilities:
- Conferences – Track, registers and submit payment for all conferences
- Communicate major task completion/open items for each conference leading up to conference (6, 4, 2 weeks). Maintain booth supplies/shipping. Arrange/invitations for dinners
- Roadshows – Create geographic lead lists for sales team prospecting. Arrange meet space and dinners
Desired Skills & Experience:
- College degree preferred
- 0-3 years of experience
- We’re looking for a highly organized individual with top-notch writing, customer service, and critical thinking skills
- Must be able to establish priorities, perform effectively under pressure and adapt to changing needs and issues.
- Expert-level PowerPoint, Word skills and Salesforce; proficient in Excel and Outlook
